LEADERSHIP
WITH INTENTION

The Village Effect

MEET DENISE

Hello, I’m Denise Williams Mallett.
I’m a leader, author, speaker, and proud mom; and for most of my career, I’ve worked in rooms where a lot was expected of me.

Senior leadership meetings.
Crisis conversations.
Moments where decisions shaped the future of students, staff, and entire communities.

I learned how to stay calm under pressure, think strategically, and move people forward when the stakes were high. I also learned something less visible; the quiet weight that comes with being the one others rely on. The late nights. The internal questioning. The gratitude for opportunity mixed with the unspoken question: Who is holding me?

That question changed the way I lead…and the way I serve.

Today, my work centers on helping women lead with clarity, confidence, and conviction without losing themselves in the process. I draw from more than 25 years of executive leadership experience, my grounding as an educator, and my faith as an anchor. I believe leadership is not just about what we carry, but how (and with whom) we carry it.

With me, you won’t find quick fixes or performative inspiration. You’ll find reflection, strategy, and honest conversation. I help leaders sort through competing priorities, name what truly matters, and move forward with intention; supported by community rather than isolated by responsibility.

Whether you are stepping into a new role, navigating a season of transition, or simply tired of leading on empty, you are not alone. There is another way to lead, one that honors both your strength and your humanity.
